Measuring Grip Strength - Science

Aim:
To measure grip strength with different positions.

Method:
First we made the device that measured our grip strength. We used popsicle sticks, a bulldog clip, blu tack, glue and a print out of a protractor.

We measured out grip strengths by pinching the bulldog clip with our thumb and index finger then a friend would look at the protractor and see what degrees it was on.

Results:
My results were 30 degrees pointing down, 30 degrees on neutral and then 15 degrees pointing up.

The main result of the graph is that the neutral position is the strongest.
